 I really do not look the same in person as in photos and it’s fine with me now, my kids love how I look and I love this body that is well, healthy, capable, willing and strong enough,this face that smiles to show people I extend love to them,that I laugh and direct happiness and joy. This self that tries to be light to herself and others even though I fight fear and anxiety every day. One nice friend. That is all our child needs. Be that one. The look of relief on the other person’s face is far better than any trophy, any contest, any invitation, or any award.

I will embrace it and brave the wilderness to find where I belong. And teach my girls, they belong in the world too! Revolution is about to open an arms-open heart.
